This session considers how to use AI tools including ChatGPT to generate formative assessments that allow teachers to gauge student learning in both content and academic literacy. Samples from World History 10, including student-focused rubrics, can serve as models for teachers to use when creating their own materials for classroom use. Relevant to any subject area, this session will provide a quick overview of assessment development process and include time for people to create their own materials.
