ELA teachers will learn about the NEA’s Big Read and how to incorporate it into their classroom through the Write Out Loud’s Read Imagine Create program. This program gives students a unique opportunity to engage in a variation of project-based learning and differentiation as students construct and self-direct a project of choice in one of four project categories. Participating teachers will receive a class set of novels to read with their students as the basis for student projects.
