This session is avalable to all 7-12 cross-content area teachers interested in incorporating AVID Critical Reading Strategies with structured student interactions into their content area classrooms. Participants will learn to apply the important critical reading steps needed to analyze the meaning and purpose of text sources, using the gradual release method of, "I do, we do, you do in pairs, you do," method. This session will model and provide scaffolded examples, as well as provide AVID Critical Reading support resources for all content area teachers to access and utilize.
