In this session, participants will learn why they should have students read research studies and not just a textbook, where to find these readings, practical, evidence-based strategies to help students decode reading collegiate-level articles, and using the strategy of dual coding to process and remember what was read.
Ideal for AVID, science, psychology, statistics, and ethnic studies teachers
