Hilltop High School

All teachers should attend to help students use common strategies across every discipline. They will identify strategies that will be effective in their own classes based on instructional goals, nature of lesson, and how students need to interact: tying in goals with outcomes or skills (written/oral, cognitive, psychomotor). I will be sharing AVID strategies and materials to discuss with PLC team. Identifying the learning goals, how to present material, assess, provide feedback, and improve retention requires discussion of student needs to motivate both teachers and learners. Knowing what to bring to your own classroom and share at PLC meetings will help teachers meet student needs.
